As the connections between countries around the world grow increasingly closer and barriers to communication diminish, while this trend has driven global development, it has also brought about new challenges. For Taiwan, which relies significantly on the international community, it must be well-prepared to meet these challenges. These challenges include global warming, energy crises, the impact of free trade, technological advancements, aging populations, declining birth rates, and increased international migration. Yunlin County in Taiwan is significantly affected by these trends. This article will examine the impact of these trends on Yunlin and the current state of development in Yunlin from Yunlin’s perspective. Finally, it will propose how Yunlin can leverage its strengths to find new development opportunities within these challenges, creating a green, sustainable, and livable Yunlin.

世界各國的連結越來越緊密，交流的障礙越來越少，雖然這股潮流推升了世界發展，但在國界日益模糊之下，也帶來新的衝擊，對於相當依賴國際社會的台灣而言，必須做好萬全準備，以迎接這些挑戰，這些挑戰包括全球暖化、能源危機、自由貿易的衝擊、科技進步、老年化、少子化與國際移民增加等。台灣的雲林縣在面對這些趨勢之下，所受到的影響相當大。本文將從雲林的角度，來檢視這些趨勢對雲林的衝擊，以及雲林各方面的發展現況，最後提出雲林如何能夠在這些挑戰中，利用其優勢找尋新的發展契機，創造出一個綠色的雲林、永續的雲林、樂活的雲林。
